Ive really bored today (was actually staring at the window grills while blasting music for 30mins just now). So i decided to do some research for the fun of it and post it up here.WARNING. EXPLICT CONTENT. IF YOURE OFFENDED BY THE TOPIC ON PORN, DONT BOTHER READING.
6 reasons why porn is dominates almost everything.
Movie entertainment sector1.Hollywood cranks out around 500 movies a year to an international audience of 2.8 billion. Bollywood produces over 1000 movies per year, while 11,000 adult movies were released per year. That means, a new video is being created every 39 minutes in the U.S alone.
2. In 2005, with the harry potter movie & the star wars prequel Hollywood domestic grosses of $8.597 billion. In 2006, video sales, rentals, mobile phone content and Internet revenues for porn amounted to $8.6billion. Not to mention they didnt have to spend a few billion on advertising.
Internet sector3. Every second, at least 372 Internet users are typing "adult" search terms into search engines. One interesting fact is that for 23 minutes, there was more searches for "Obama" than adult content. Quoting cracked.com "It took a black man becoming leader of the free world to wrangle the collective consciousness away from sex for roughly 23 minutes. "
4. America churns out more porn websites than any ten countries put together, at 244,661,900. Germany comes next, at 10,030,200 pages.
Everything-else-put-together sector5. In 2008, microsoft profits at $16billion. ExxonMobil (appearently it's the world's largest publicly traded company, posted 2008 profits of $40.6 billion. In 2006, the sum of international revenues from pornographic videos, sexual novelties, magazines, "dance" clubs, pay-per-view and Internet was approximately $97 billion.
6. Domestic revenues for pornography are larger than the revenues of Microsoft, Google, Amazon, eBay, Yahoo!, Apple, Netflix and EarthLink combined.
7. If you think it's unfair to compare to companies, then countries too. If you compare porn revenues to Gross Domestic Product, the market value of all final goods and services from a nation in a given year, it is bigger than Morocco.

Now dont go and start a huge debate or go "EWW LEROY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING." I've already mention im bored, and actually there's nothing much explict about statical infomation when there's no pictures or anything.
