Woke up late yesterday, and since the school's so far away i arrived in class only 30mins late :D Long boring train ride, stood all the way from pasir ris to dover. Standard. After sch we had lunch at Bedok's pizza hut with my classmates (altho we have one inside SP itself) WTH. and the service sucks. then we took 197 to ECP, and rented bikes and lockers, then cycled around and camwhored for 3 hours. Had blisters on my hands again so halfway through i opened my locker to take my biking gloves. Sorry candy for making you take your bag out too =( Had dinner at ECP food centre which was DAMN far. Walked until wana die. Still all the guys were nice enough to carry all the girl's laptops. Almost died under the weight since i had my own laptop too (i know, who brings laptop to ECP?) Had an expensive dinner that cost over $100++. Stingray, sotong, cockles, kangkong, drinks... yeah, awesome seafood dinner. Hopefully i can find my friend to upload the pics haha.

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYY im back after so long. Finally had stuff worth blogging about :D (actually before that i have loads, but too many stuff and im sure you'll be bored to death reading what i have been doing when i hung out with my friends everyday.)
anyway, i went for SP's Freshman Orientation Camp aka FOC from the 3rd to 5th of April.It's not compulsory, and in fact i had to pay $15 to go. Really didnt want to go at first, and kinda felt retarded signing up. I mean, how many orientation camps have you been to that you felt out of place? Going for a 3D2N camp with 200++ strangers? And im sure EVERYONE hates the ice breaking games right? Ok, shall stop ranting. Only the $15 made me go, i admit.
I met up with Shu Yu at Dover mrt station at 10.30am, and we went for breakfast at foodcourt 4. Afterwards we slowly made our way to MLT 12 (which was SUPER FAR AWAY esp when you didnt know a single shortcut at all) Then we got divided into different groups ( i could have sworn shu yu groaned), me group 14, shu yu group 12. There were 16 groups in total. Mine's called Tritons, which means Giants.
Just when i sat down feeling super out of place, this guy behind me smiled and introducted himself, and i did the same. And there's my first new friend in SP, Daryl from DBA (business admin). And soon another guy named JunJie joined in. He's from DTRM (same as me!! :D tourism and resort management). And he lives in pasir ris too! wow.
Soon its the girls turn. They're Sin Yee, Shi Min, Jessica, Shu Hui and Cyntha (not sure correct spelling or not =O). And so everyone was pretty fine after that. :)
First was flag making. We had to actually participate in a few competitions against other teams to get the materials needed for our flag!! O__O so we had a Dog-and-Bone match, which we used eggs instead of a ball. So we ended up having 16 fighting for a few eggs and soon the whole place was covered with smashed eggs D: next game everyone had to be blindfolded and holding a string with a pen attached to the end, and i had to direct them to a cup and get them to lower the pen in. That was easy. Another game we had to throw balls into a moving-like-crazy-hoop.
Soon flag making had begun. We did a pretty cool flag with our fingers and feet. I'll see if i could find a photo of it soon. I took over 20 photos throughout the camp, now to see if i could find them :P
Afterwards we had games i think. Cant really remember. And we learned more cheers, and a mass dance lesson. Sorta like those ballroom dances when any guy can just partner a girl and dance. Was totally fun. The music was Wannabe by Spice Girls.
The at night we watched 4bia again. (loads of people wanted me to spoil every single part for them since they were terrified, so i spent half of the time telling them "Scary part coming soon" "He died in the end" "The ghost will appear from the side"... you get the point XD).
Afterwards its the night walk. And i agree, Singapore Poly is FREAKING SCARY at night. No need mention we dont know the place during the day, at night is _!@%#!$!! Well the night walk was super long too, till 7am. We went in groups of 4, 2 boys and girls. And there were over 100 ghosts/ figures prowling around the school. And their budget was good! Think they can make all the haunted houses in singapore go out of business. Even the lift's had red paper over the lights and blood dripping everywhere. and bodies falling down from ceilings, and many ppl hung themselves XD also there's this one china girl covered in blood standing in the middle of the staircase and screaming. Hmm... and there's the boy from The Grudge hiding in a corner and staring at us. AND HE ACTUALLY LOOKED EXACTLY REAL, WITH THE BLUE SKIN AND SUNKEN EYES. and we have coffin and altars. Oh, and there was also a mission for us where we have to enter the girl's toilet and look for a baby doll (the doll was already scary) in the dark and return to the mother (a ghost too obviously). And they had 6 other people hiding in the toilet. So it was pretty chaotic. Basically, i was impressed.
Then we went to sleep, till 9.45am. When Sin Yee and Shi Min came into the boys dorm and wake me and Daryl up to go and shower. (That sounded wrong. Different toilets obviously. Dont bother thinking anything funny lol)
2nd day we had amazingly dirty race. 14 different stations all over the school. The top few dirtiest ones are Captain Vegetables (which is exactly like captain ball, except we use tomatoes, long beans, cabbages etc except of a ball), sticking our feet into some sick mixture of tomatoes, eggs, shampoo, flour, water, and a number of strange stuff i cant make out to extract 135 marbles in 5 mins with our feet (we got 132!!!) And one where we have to spin around for 10 rounds, run across a field barefoot and slide across a canvas covered in bee hoon and more sick stuff (and loads of soap!!). Was totally fun, love the sliding part.
Then we showered again, and had to think of a dance performance. (Song-> We like to move it) And i was given a solo part LOL. Then i had to have to dance in the front with two girls for the couple dance (actually one of them was a guy who dressed as a girl, the other was real). A big thank you to our Facils for helping us!!! <3 love you guys.
Then we had a mass dance, followed by disco night <3 Yep, exactly like real disco. And there were good breakdancers and tango. :D was damn high like crazy. We were bored, and i found an empty classroom with aircon. And we managed to get Darren's permission to use as our bunk! Woohoo, so JunJie, Shi Min, Sin Yee, Baxton, Jun Ren and I had a whole new room to ourselves while those poor souls have to squeeze like 20++ ppl in a room. And we're one of the only 2 rooms that has guys and girls sleeping together :) *hears a lot of jealous protesting from everyone else*
Before we slept we still had energy to invite Justin over and we played a few stupid made up games, like hiding in our sleeping bags and wiggling around like maggots- okay, like caterpillars. And kicking and attacking each other :Pso we got super high again until 6am when we finally collapsed and fell asleep. And i woke up at 9.30am to Sin Yee poking my ear (or was she tapping my shoulder? Was bit blur)
Then everyone had screaming and cheering and went high again, and a few bored people went up to stage and played on guitar. (or else was pushed onto stage) there was this guy who played Check Yes Juliet and sang Love Story too.
Photo taking session afterwards. Took pics like crazy. Even had one for the "Caterpillar Fighters" only haha. And a few retarded pics lol. and afterwards we broke camp. Then me Jun Jie, Sin Yee and Justin went to Bugis to eat. (Along the way we ran into a lot of friends who asked us where we're going. And the convo went like this:
"Where you going?"
"Bugis."
"OMG SO FAR?!?! Where you stay?"
"One Aljunied, one kovan, two pasir ris."
"SOOOOOOOOOOO FAR!!!"
Okay, i forgot most people stayed at the west side huh >.< Haha.
Then i got home at 6pm, slept at 8pm, and when i woke up it was already 10-something the next day. Looks like i was too high for the past 3 days and only had like a total of 5 hours of sleep or so.
